Aaron has been with us since 2008. He tends to start all explanations with Well... and is remarkably even-keeled for a programmer. He consumes impressive quantities of Subway, but is suspiciously absent for Friday lunch when we have fish or tomato-based entrees.
Ashley joined the VetData family in the beginning of 2016. She's a wallflower at a social gathering, but will talk your ear off if you get too close. The things in life that make her happiest include furry animals (she's not picky), family, NPR on the weekends, air conditioning, sleep, and cake. When she grows up she wants to be a mermaid, because they don't have to do laundry or blow dry their hair.
Brandon is a console RPG nerd but also an avid sports fan. He enjoys chest bumps and fantasy. Brandon insists that rabbits are better pets than dogs. He (naively) believes that the Cincinnati Bengals will win the Super Bowl every year.
Chauncey is the early bird on our team. If our office is ever vandalized or eradicated overnight by a natural disaster, he will certainly be the one to discover it. When he first started working here, we thought he was shy and reserved, but it turns out we weren't listening to what he was mumbling under his breath.
When Chris isn’t here at work he’s raising a wonderful son and spending time with his friends. He’s constantly in search of a good book, and a couple good trees in the woods to string a hammock between to read said book. Alas, that hobby is currently slowed due to the reluctance of his toddler son to lay still and read a novel. One day he will return to his mission and it shall be a glorious day with much rejoicing.
Christa began with VetData in 2016. She is one of those unusual people that has always known she wanted to be in the veterinary field since she was a child. She has been in practice for 30 years, which by our math means she started at age 12. She enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband and watching her son go to college to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a paleontologist. She's promised us all free passes when he opens his own Jurassic Park.
Cory is a vegetarian that doesn’t eat vegetables. We’re not sure what he does, but he works with technology “stuff.”
Dakota loves 90's hip hop, spicy food, and considers herself a connoisseur of bad horror movies (Mars Attacks, Rubber, Thankskilling, etc…) She spends her time working out, playing video games, and petting dogs.
Daniel is probably our most aerodynamic team member, he immediately recognizes if any item is moved the slightest bit on his desk, and his excellent penmanship makes him our first choice for writing on the white board. He eats a single Pop-Tart per sitting, and has been known to enjoy an ice-cold Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale.
Danielle is a crazy horse person and spends part of her time trying to herd her flock of chickens. She joined the mapping team in 2015. Some of her hobbies include writing her novel that may never end and continuously mowing the fields on her farm.
Dennis wanted us to call him D-Chain, but we had to say no. He enjoys gadgets and learning about new developments in science and technology. In college he helped get Vice President Chaney impeached, but unfortunately he was the Vice President Chaney who got impeached (it's a long story). He enjoys live Ska and Bluegrass shows and relaxing with a craft beer.
Eric is probably the most persistent of our team members. He enjoys Call of Duty, and seems to know the lyrics to every song ever written. He can often be spotted wearing red, eating pudding, and/or going to Taco Bell.
Evgeny (known as “Michael” on the phone) loves writing but not when he's forced to; he needs a muse, plenty of time, and a quiet place in order to truly explore this talent. He is also a citizen of two countries, and he states that he can dream in two languages (not at the same time though). If he ever invites you to his poker tournaments, make sure that you read both pages of the rules that he has written so you won't give him a reason to yell at you when you fold your cards out of turn.
Greg enjoys all of the wonderful music videos on MTV. Oh wait, that's his bio from 20 years ago. Well, Greg likes red t-shirts.
Jared is our Chief Grammar Officer and has surely endeared himself to all through his frequent 'less vs. fewer' lectures. Despite hailing from the Midwest, he feels that “tea” should always mean “sweet tea”. He may or may not have spent many, many, many hours playing Everquest.
Jordan probably has the biggest potty mouth of the bunch, even though others might argue differently. As he gets older, he finds it harder to find the time to play long RPGs, so he settles for action games with short rounds to take up less time. During that free time, he enjoys craft beer and bourbon with friends on a night out or in. When not involved in such shenanigans, he can be found reading (fantasy, sci-fi, or something to do with programming), vegging out on TV, or working hard to improve his home.
Joseph likes console games, and he doesn't care what his friends think. His favorite games include many entries from the Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda series, and he's a big fan of Destiny and Overwatch. When he's not hanging out with his crew, he spends a lot of time reading, writing, watching Netflix, and making up songs about his cat, Bradley.
Josh is a veritable jack of all (IT) trades. From Cisco routers to Java MVC framework, he has done it all. He is a self-proclaimed MMO snob and would likely wipe the floor with you in Magic: The Gathering.
When Josh isn't behind the computer screen, he can be found playing tabletop games or cooking up something tasty. When he gets old he wants to spend his days cooking for friends. Either that or traveling around in a wizard outfit.
Kaitlin prides herself on knowing a little bit about a lot of stuff, which makes her a ringer on trivia nights. She is guilty of watching too much TV and multiple counts of houseplant neglect.
Kent spends his spare time playing obscure European board games, astronomizing, and playing Kerbal Space Program. He is vehemently against astrology and finds Star Trek much more plausible.
Leslie enjoys singing to her cats. Her cats enjoy hiding from her but she can't figure out why. In her free time, she can be found watching too much tv, starting craft projects she'll never finish, or carefully preparing spells in hopes of one day becoming a level 20 wizard
Lindsay can quote any given Seinfeld episode, is allergic to cats but has two anyway, and has an unbridled enthusiasm for making Holly, the office dog, love her more than anyone else.
Lynda joined VetData in 2015 by a circuitous, less-traveled road covering the continent. In her previous life she worked with hawks, lemurs, seals, and echidnas. She enjoys the outdoors, book sales, and puzzles. She is a rabid soccer fan, even in Spanish, but doesn’t understand a word. She also enjoys foreign films and international music that she can’t understand but likes the tones and rhythms.
Mary firmly established her reputation as the Crazy Bird Lady of Windermere while chasing and calling to her Cockatiel, Garth, for 3 days through the quiet residential streets. Garth, who accidentally escaped, was never recovered, but is immortalized on YouTube with his rendition of the Gator Fight Song.
Mathew (yes, it really is spelled that way) may be our loudest team member. Mat (or is it Math?) enjoys rollerblading, Frisbee golf, and something we now understand to be 'shoegazing' music. Google it; it is weird. Mat is contemplating growing a sweet rattail.
Miranda joined us in 2015. Her addictions are cheesecake, jigsaw puzzles, fried chicken, and audiobooks. She is immobilized by her irrational fear of any bug, large or small. When she's not researching the topic of day to the nth degree, she can be found trying to complete the sticker book in PvZ:Garden Warfare.
If you're looking for just the right reaction .gif, Nick's your guy. Known for microwaving his sushi, having an anxiety attack every five seconds, and a severe case of RBF, he at least strives to show he can adult like the rest of us. His claim that he's smart enough to work past drunkenness remains to be verified.
Phillip is a recent graduate from Western Kentucky University. He enjoys tabletop RPGs, board games, and music. He can often be found consuming entirely too much coffee.
Some would say that Rebecca is “the nicest person you’ll ever meet”, or “not too bad of a dancer”. She’s a lover of sweets, cartoons, and cats. And we know, she looks thirteen; we promise she’s at least twice that age.
Becky gets teased a lot for missing pop culture references. She likes cooking and fermenting things. She makes a mean batch of kimchi, yet failed at an attempt to make sauerkraut (yes, it’s just cabbage and salt). Her ultimate challenge is to successfully bake a loaf of sourdough bread.
Ryan joined the support team in February of 2016. He enjoys blacksmithing, his PS4, and fantasy novels. He can occasionally get too worked up over things, and also really likes taking others’ parking spots. Ryan also is suspicious of Skype, and prefers to bug people at their desks rather than send them messages. We don’t hold it against him though.
Steven has been around since 2014. He maintains love/hate relationships with both coffee and exercise, and he truly believes that games will one day play a crucial role in helping humanity save the planet. He is most proud of his unrivaled humility.
Taylor likes various music played at loud volumes, taking too many photos of his cats, and having at least 3 items in his lists. He frequently stays up past your bedtime, and looks for any opportunity to use the word 'chill' in self-written bios. If you’re looking for fashion advice, he recommends plain t-shirts for any occasion.
Tia is not a fan of pictures, nor of personal blurbs. After much bugging to get her to write a statement containing more than her two miniature dogs (with whom the office is obsessed,) we finally gave up. Because quite frankly, despite her tiny stature, she scares the crap out of us.
When he is not putting off home improvement projects, Travis can be found writing and recording music under the moniker 'Pilots & Errors'. He is also on a noble quest for the perfect doughnut, which he may have already found. But he can't be too sure, so for now he keeps on eating...
Trey has an affinity for colorful jackets, and is amassing an impressive collection of nerdy figures on his desk at work. He really thought Taylor claimed to be a chili master, because reading is hard. Also, he is fairly certain his 5 cats are plotting his demise.
Tyler loves animals, most genres of music, and everything related to the Song of Ice and Fire book series. He intensely dislikes lettuce, and works out only so he can eat cookies more often.
If you run into William on the road, he is likely on his bike, popping sweet wheelies. We can't get this guy to stop telling jokes and take things seriously. He also suspects that Kent is a f'ing weirdo.
An avid PC gamer, Zeb has recently been getting into the virtual reality scene with hopes of one day making his own VR game. Perhaps one day he will take the headset off long enough to get that done!
Audrey loves popcorn more than life itself and believes it makes an entirely acceptable dinner. In her free time Audrey enjoys sleeping, petting ponies, and staring at things that glow in the dark. She hopes to one day run a cat circus
Daniel finds talking about himself in third-person oddly disconcerting. He's a big Pink Floyd and Radiohead fan, a life-long gamer, and loves cooking for large groups. His dream is to one day retire to the Philippines with his wife, Marichu.
John loves music and math. He plays and listens to jazz in his spare time. His instrument of choice is the guitar but he aspires to one day learn the tenor saxophone. He has a love/hate relationship with the music of guitarist Mike Moreno. Some days, it is inspiring. Some days, it makes him want to burn his guitar as he realizes he will never be that good.
James enjoys the simplicity of life. Gardening, books, and sleeping until noon. Barring those activities he is either at his computer or in the workshop making something.
